search "ugc rate card" and you get templates to fill in. this fills itself in: type your base rate, and it prices the whole stack for you.

a ugc rate card is your base rate per video plus every add-on as its own line: paid usage per term, raw footage, hooks, whitelisting per month, exclusivity, a bundle price, and three packages. brands pay for the stack, so the card shows it.

1. who is this card for?

this stays in your browser. nothing you type here is sent anywhere.

2. where are you right now?

picking a level fills in a starting base inside that market band. type your own rate if you have one; it is your card.

3. your add-ons

starting values sit inside the market ranges in the table below. change any of them.

the ranges behind the card

every add-on on the card is a separate line because each one is a separate thing the brand gets. these are the market ranges the starting values come from.

the middle package is the worked deal from usage rights pricing: 3 videos, 90 days of paid usage and 2 hooks. at a $250 base that is $1,200. the full campaign adds 3 months of whitelisting, as in whitelisting rates. why three packages and not one price: the three-option menu. the full numbers and sources are in ugc rates 2026.

how to use your rate card

  1. send it when they ask, not before. a cold pitch leads with an idea for their product. the card is for the moment a brand says "what are your rates?"
  2. keep usage time-boxed. a term with an end date turns into a renewal. "forever" should cost what a year of renewals would earn.
  3. hold the rate, move the scope. if they push back, offer the starter package or drop a line. don't cut the per-video number.
  4. date it. the card prints with today's date, so an old card can't be held against you next year.

common questions

what should a ugc rate card include?

Your base rate per video, then every add-on priced as its own line: paid usage rights per term, raw footage, hook variations, whitelisting per month, and exclusivity. Add a bundle price and three packages so the brand chooses a package instead of haggling over one number.

how much should i charge for usage rights on a ugc rate card?

Market tables put paid usage rights at 30 to 100 percent on top of the base rate, priced per term rather than forever. This generator starts at 40 percent of production for a 90-day term, the figure in our worked example, and you can change it.

should whitelisting be on my rate card?

Yes, as a flat monthly fee with a set term, not a percentage. Market tables put it at $500 to $2,000 a month on top of production. This generator starts at $700 a month.

should i send my rate card to every brand?

Send it when a brand asks for rates or after a first call, not in a cold pitch. In a cold pitch, lead with the idea for their product. The rate card does its job once they are already interested.
