What gets built

  1. Data. Your ICP in code, not a slide. Lists pulled from signals (hiring, funding, tech, intent) on a schedule.
  2. Enrichment and scoring. Waterfall enrichment, dedup, lead-to-account matching, and a scoring model you can read and change.
  3. Research agents. Claude agents read the account and its last three posts, then write the first line a human would have, with sources.
  4. Outbound and routing. Sequences in your sender, replies classified and routed, meetings booked, all logged to the CRM.
  5. Handover. A repo, a README, a Loom and a runbook for your next hire. Every credential in your accounts.

Why Claude Code, and where Clay fits

62.7% of GTM engineers run Claude Code. 35% of postings ask for Claude; 6% of engineers list it. The agents, scoring rules and glue live in a repo you own. Clay, asked for in 56% of postings, does lists and enrichment at volume. The logic does not live in a tool you rent.

Straight answers

What is GTM engineering as a service?

A GTM engineer's output without the hire. The system is built in your tools, documented and handed over. You own it.

Can you build while we hire a GTM engineer?

Yes, that is the most common shape. 82% of postings at 1-to-10-person companies close within 90 days (OneGTM, Q3 2026). Two or three months of the seat gets the system live. Whoever you hire inherits a running stack.

What does the seat cost and is there a minimum?

$4,500 a month for 15 to 25 build hours. No minimum after month one. Most firms publish $5,000 and 35% require three months or more.

Do I have to get on a call?

No. Everything runs async and in writing: a document, a repo, a handover doc, a weekly Loom.

What if it does not run?

I keep building at no extra cost until the scoped system does the scoped job. Same guarantee as every Closer Method install since 2025.

Tell me the one GTM bottleneck eating pipeline.

One line from you. I reply in writing: lists problem, enrichment problem, sequencing problem or people problem, and what I would build first.

No calls. You get a written reply, usually within a day. Prices on this page are the prices.
