F4THE METER90.3K comments

Best for: making an invisible cost or waste feel physical, then giving away the free fix.

beats
0-6s hook: "everyone doing X is wasting Y, and [giant company] already fixed it" with 3 to 4 visual environments in 6 seconds · 6-15s why the waste happens · 15-25s quantify it with an escalating on-screen meter · 25-31s named free tool reveal with receipts · 31-47s capability list, one icon per second · 48-55s bonus feature · 55-60s CTA keyword slab · dimmed outro.
signature devices

Invented meter UI. Borrowed-authority footage. Star-counter tick-up. Icon-per-second capability montage. One rule for the honest version: the meter must show true numbers.

F5TOP N STACKreceipted listicle

Best for: authority through curation. Each item is a name, one-line benefit, and a quantified on-screen receipt.

beats
0-3s hook: "if you're new to X, here are the top 5 [things] to crush it" with hand-drawn arrows · 5 items at 6-8s each, every item gets a chapter card (oversized serif ordinal: FIRST, SECOND...) plus a repo card or chart receipt · final item is an official or authority source, so the list ends on trust · last 4s: CTA, single keyword.
signature devices

Cream chapter cards with serif ordinals. README highlight swipes. Star-history charts. Ending the list on the most authoritative item.

F6BUILD LOGcase-study walkthrough

Best for: proof of capability plus a lead magnet. The reel demonstrates the exact thing it gives away.

beats
0-8s hook: outcome + tools + "here's how I did it" · three steps narrated First / Secondly / And lastly, each with its own custom graphic (terminal typing, branching diagram, architecture card) · live payoff screen recording of the real artifact · optional urgency beat · CTA gated on a bonus guide, its pages flashed as proof.
signature devices

Progress bar across the demo (tells the viewer the walkthrough is finite). Disembodied pointing-hand cutout. Guide-page flash at one page per second.

F7HIDDEN COMMANDcapability tease

Best for: "most people don't realize you can do X" education that gates the setup, not the knowledge.

beats
0-3s transformation hook ("turn X into a machine") with 2-3s of cinematic b-roll only at the top · mechanism reveal typed live on screen · deliverable stack montage, one output document per spoken list item · scale-up beat ("you can do multiple at once") · escalation line "here's where it gets powerful," then the collective payoff · named tool as activation · CTA for the configuration guide.
signature devices

The escalation midpoint. Hand-drawn annotation arrows over a collage. A logo-chain animation that explains the integration with zero words.

F8AGENCY KILLER2,730 comments in 38s

Best for: replacing a known expensive service with one install. The most sales-native shape in the corpus.

beats
0-3s hook: "[tool] can now get you [outcome] on autopilot" · villain the $X per month service · anaphora feature run: "It researches... It studies... It writes... It gets you..." with one receipt per claim · pivot line: "here's the part [the villain] can't touch" · live payoff proof · CTA keyword.
signature devices

"It does X" anaphora. One-claim-one-receipt editing. The twist differentiator. Only the ask changes pill color. Warning from the audit: this shape sells hardest and lies easiest. Your version has to survive the claim check.

F9ONE SMALL THINGofficial-source foundation

Best for: cold-audience beginners. A negative-command hook plus the safety of an official source.

beats
0-4s "new to X? do not [common behavior] until you've done this one small thing" · reveal the official source with itemized receipts popping in, synced to the spoken list · pain agitation (tutorial soup, overwhelm) · the one action, shown literally · benefit stack, one visual per second · authority close, full frame, no b-roll: "if anyone understands X, it's the team who created it" · CTA with a real sweetener ("the link plus my top 5 workflows").
signature devices

Receipts rhythm: repo cards land word-for-word with the voice. The deliberate slow-down to full frame for the trust line. Lighting dims onto the keyword.

F10NEWS DROPtool-drop newsjack

Best for: speed-to-trend. Riding a fresh release with a price-anchor payoff.

beats
0-3s "[maker] just dropped a free tool that kills [known pain], and your $20 plan now does what the $100 plan used to do" · problem mechanism with real UI receipts (usage panels, pricing pages) · named tool reveal (blurred in the hook, revealed here) · mechanism wow b-roll · one shocking number, then full-frame face: "that's not a typo, I'm serious" · follow plus comment gate.
signature devices

Blur-then-reveal withhold. The pricing-page receipt. The "not a typo" credibility beat. Pixel-glitch CTA slab.

F11FAKE FAILstrongest cold hook

Best for: the strongest cold-audience hook shape in the corpus. Curiosity plus relatability in 4 seconds.

beats
0-2s "alright, let's try [the obvious thing]" · 2-4s it fails on camera ("oh wait, it's not there") · "don't worry, there's something most people are gatekeeping" · the workaround, filmed as a physical monitor shot, not a clean capture; the mess is the credibility · payoff receipts scroll, a real dashboard panned by hand · follow plus comment CTA.
signature devices

Filmed-monitor authenticity (webcam bezel and glare visible). The empty search result as the hook's proof. The creator's own analytics as social proof inside the demo.

F1230-SECOND BUILDresult-first speedrun

Best for: "one connector and one prompt" simplicity claims. The finished artifact is visible behind you from second zero.

beats
0-8s hook with the result glowing on the monitor in the background while the promise is spoken · "here's how to build it in 30 seconds" · click-path speedrun, one UI state per 1-2s · slow admiring pan across the finished artifact while narrating the numbers · CTA from a different room (a location change resets attention).
signature devices

Proof in the mise-en-scene. Time-boxed promise. Handheld pans across the payoff. Chapter change via background swap.

+bonus · ANIMATED CAROUSEL ENGINE1,253 comments

Best for: saves, dwell time, and comment velocity. Not a reel: 10 individually rendered looping video slides uploaded as a carousel.

why it matters
Carousels earn dwell time per slide. The comment gate sits on slide 10, after five full teaching steps. And comment velocity from carousels lifts reel distribution on the same account: the two formats feed each other.

The PDF token reel · 90.3K comments

tool realtoken range realstale star countthe 70k mathwhen NOT to convert

The tool and the per-page token cost are real. But "a 20 page document burns up to 70,000 tokens" fails its own math (20 x 3,000 = 60,000), and the reel never tells you scanned pages and charts should stay PDFs. Nobody in 90 thousand comments checked.

The top-5 plugins reel

4 of 5 tools real"50% cheaper"fabricated terminal commandplugin safety

"Cutting your usage by over 50% without losing any accuracy": the repo's own stats say about half the code and about 20% cheaper. One terminal command shown on screen does not exist. And the official directory's own trust warning never comes up.

The agency killer reel · 2,730 comments in 38s

product realcherry-picked AI answerthe $5k anchorthe risky feature is the pitch

The differentiator it sells is a reciprocal backlink exchange, which Google's spam policy names directly. The "when someone asks ChatGPT, you're the answer" proof was a prompt phrased in the product's own category language.

The dashboard reels

connector realfake-fail beat honest"auto updates"unverifiable revenue

"A dashboard that auto updates" is really "rebuilds when you ask." The revenue and ROAS numbers shown can't be audited from the reel. And every metric shown except payment-processor revenue is vanity-adjacent.

The 70x tokens reel

tool realbest case sold as the casethe mechanism as stated

"70 times fewer tokens, that's not a typo." Their own benchmark table: 71.5x on a 52-file project, 5.4x on four files, roughly nothing on six. Big codebase, monster. Small project, skip it. That is the difference between a claim and a benchmark.

The other five

real tools"free" hiding paid planssingular repo that is an org"open source" that is not

Same pattern everywhere: a real tool at the core, stretched at the edges. "Just two free tools" hides the paid plan one of them needs. "The source code for Claude Code itself" is not open source. Staged batch screens repeat the same URL four times.

The strategic finding

Every reel in the corpus is true at the core and exaggerated at the edges. None of them lie about existence; all of them lie about ease. Which means the account that keeps the identical viral structure but makes the edges true (current numbers, honest caveats in one clause, receipts that survive scrutiny) loses nothing on hook strength and compounds the one thing none of them can copy without breaking their back catalog: trust.

3 teleprompter scripts

Honest remakes of the three strongest shapes. Hit teleprompter mode and read them on camera tonight.
THE METERthe token burn reelhook card: "uploading PDFs to Claude? read this first"
everyone uploading pdfs to claude is burning tokens they already paid for. microsoft fixed this months ago and most people missed it. every pdf page costs 1,500 to 3,000 tokens before you ask your first question. that is anthropic's own documentation. a 20 page contract can hit 60,000 tokens. gone, on formatting junk. the fix is markitdown. free, built by microsoft, past 150,000 stars on github. it converts pdfs, word docs, excel sheets, powerpoints, even youtube videos into clean markdown, the format claude reads best. your token use drops hard and the answers get sharper because the junk is gone. one caveat the other videos skip: scanned pages and charts should stay pdfs, claude needs to see those. text documents, convert every time. it ships with an mcp server, so claude desktop converts any file the moment you ask. want the link and my exact setup, comment "TOKENS" and i will send it to you.
What this fixes vs the viral original: the broken 60k math, the stale star count, the automatic-conversion overstatement. And it adds the convert-or-keep judgment call nobody teaches.
30-SECOND BUILDthe one-screen business reelhook card: "one connector. one prompt. your whole business on one screen"
one connector and one prompt gets you a dashboard of your real numbers, built by claude, styled how you want it. here is the build. open claude desktop. settings, connectors, browse. pick the sources you actually trust. for me revenue only counts when stripe says so. paste one prompt: pull this week's sales, ad spend, and follower growth, big numbers first, percent change against last week, three charts for the month. open it tomorrow and ask again, it rebuilds with fresh data every time you ask. mine flagged a refund pattern i had missed and it took under a minute to build. the prompt is written. it works on claude's free connectors. comment "PULSE" and i will send you the prompt and the setup guide.
What this fixes: "auto updates" became the true mechanic, rebuilds when you ask. Record the real build first; every number shown must be yours.
FAKE FAILthe lying analytics reelhook card: "your analytics are lying to you. watch"
alright, let's ask my analytics how much money i made this week. okay. and now let's ask stripe. those are two different numbers. one of them is my bank account. this happened to me for real. my analytics once showed hundreds of purchases that never existed. bots and echoes, counted as revenue. so now i connect claude straight to stripe and let the source of truth do the talking. one prompt: pull this week's charges, refunds, and net revenue, compare to last week, and tell me the one thing to fix first. no dashboard theater. the number that clears the bank, and one action. if you run your business on screenshots of analytics, this will sting once and then save you every week. comment "PROOF" and i will send you the prompt and the setup.
Truth base: a real documented case, analytics once counted 914 purchases when the bank saw 51. The hardest-won lesson in the corpus's strongest format.
