## claude desktop / claude.ai
1. Settings → Capabilities → Skills → **Upload skill**
2. Upload the `adhd-executive-function` folder (or the .zip).
3. Done. Claude reads it automatically.

Drop the folder in `~/.claude/skills/`.

## what happens now
You don't do anything. You don't retype a prompt. You don't remember a system.

You just talk to Claude like normal — "i can't start this", "there's too much", "i've been at this for six hours" — and it recognizes the state and runs the right rule.

That's the difference between a prompt and a skill. A prompt is something you have to remember. A skill is a file it reads on its own.

## try it
Open Claude and type, exactly:

> there's too much and i don't know where to start

It should empty your head, sort the pile for you, and hand you back **one** thing.

If it hands you a list, the skill didn't load.
